Turfing video
In the hip hop and krumping class, I mentioned the video on youtube of "turfing." Its a lot like the dance battles we discussed except the competition takes place on the streets, really cool to check out. The people competing face each other on opposite sides of the street. Wow, that is some beautiful dancing! I would love to know more about this dance, how it came about, and where it is done. Do you have any more information on it?
ReplyDeleteI agree, this is a very interesting style of dance. I've always been interested in the way that people are able to move their bodies like that. Especially being able to effortlessly glide across the concrete as they do.
