I think I may have posted something about the emergence of Brukup earlier on the blog but I just found a photo slideshow that highlights the up and coming dance movement that has taken over the streets of Brooklyn. Real cool article! I have never heard of this dance actually. Must have missed the class when it was referenced. The slide show is really great heretoo. Its shows off artistic expression as well as a still photo can. I particularly liked how the dance style carries over in to what these kids wear. They all had a similar look but it was different from you average BK hipster. Better use of colors and a little more made up. I love to art becoming this big of an influence on lifestyle.
